Puck night! Wild -v- Blues 7pm

Minnesota: 2-2-0 (4 points) t2nd in the NW division, 9th in the Western Conference
St Louis: 4-1-9 (8 points) 2nd in the Central division, 4th in the West

It will probably be tough sledding for the Wild tonight. St Louis has only let in 9 goals (+10 goal diff.), while the Wild have only scored 9 times (-1)

  1. I cant remember a time where Ive seen a ref send a guy to the box that was sitting on the bench.

  2. a way to get alcohol poisoning: drink every time Pierre McGuire name drops a hometown or college

  3. Argh! The wife is watching Downton Abbey. I should get to see most of the third.

Did they blow the horn to stop play a couple minutes after Kaptain's goal?

    1. yeah it was weird.

maybe they were waiting for the Wild to gain possession before blowing the horn.

      1. lots of bad defense. can't leave a guy standing in front of your goalie like that (as they did on two goals)

        1. I think Suter was the guy standing next to Stewart.

Also, the Wild had sixteen shots on goal, four in the second and four in the third. The Blues had 34.

          1. I dont know if there is a time of possession stat in hockey (probably, but its not on the Yahoo! box score), but I would say the Blues owned the puck for those two periods...probably 65-35%
