Dozier almost gets thrown out on an attempted 9-3 putout, gets put of his misery on a 8-3 DP.
going to be one of these game
Work is a convenient excuse not to watch this, though I could probably manage.
Thanks for the assist, DW. Totally spaced it.
welp, each team has been doubled up by the centerfielder.
SEND HIM!!!!!
botched running play then a wild pitch leads to a RBI on an out
TWINS BASEBALL!!
YDNROJM
file under 'impressive'. FSN showed some Twins fans in the crowd and one of the dudes was wearing a #19 Mike Lincoln jersey.
Six shutout innings for Pelfrey.
and he has settled down after a rough first.
BULLDOZED
DOZ'd!
The unsuccessful bunt was the key to that 3-run inning.
Send Thielbar out for the eighth as well!
Darren Oliver is so old that Ron Coomer had 35 career plate appearances against him. Coomer retired in 2003.
a...win?
a shockingly convincing win
Umpire was horrible in this one. Looking through Gameday, I counted 19 pitches that were clearly wrong. Not just borderline, but wrong. Given the number of balls and the average number of strikes taken in an AL game, the ump got less than 87% correct. His biggest problem was calling the high knuckleball. He hosed Jamey Carroll at least a couple times. Fortunately, Dickey's knuckler wasn't dancing much today.
