A good game in Mazatlan.

GUASAVE 2, MAZATLAN 1 IN MAZATLAN

Guasave:  Jesus Lopez was 2-for-3 with a walk, scoring once and driving in one.  Marco Tovar struck out six in 6.1 innings, giving up one run on four hits and one walk.

Mazatlan:  Henry Mateo was 2-for-4.  Bryan Petersen was 2-for-4.  Horacio Ramirez pitched 6.1 innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks with five strikeouts.

The game:  Mazatlan scored in the first on an RBI single by Issmael Salas.  The lead held up until the sixth, when Guasave tied it on a single by Jose Rodriguez.  In the seventh, Lopez had an RBI single to give Guasave the lead.  Mazatlan got a man on third in both the seventh and the eighth.
