Anwan "Slim Charles" Glover was stabbed at a nightclub last night. Be nice to each other, Citizens. Also, nightclubs for mid-30s folks? It's over.

I'm still planning to do July Players of the Month, as well as this week's Players of the Week, but it won't be today. It's County Fair time this week. If you've never lived in a little rural community, there's no way I can explain to you what a big deal the county fair is here.
Collective silence on the CoC seeming to justify domestic violence. Well played, everybody.
Jeff A, I'd imagine you're largely exempt from any suspicion of advocating such things, so no worries.
Contrariwise, said silence could be interpreted as a protest against domestic violence and its graphical depictions.
Today's jpg is a bit awkward
Yes. I'd vote for its retirement.
Google "citizen Kane breakfast" for a nice replacement
I knew what it was going to be, and yet I laughed.
oh, Lord, i laughed.
Ugh, bad wifi just ate my reply. Let me try again. If you want to know my opinion of the CoC image, I wasn't offended or anything like that. The ad copy is so ridiculous that if anything, it just serves as a reminder of how much things have changed in the last half-century or so. It brought to mind this hilariously terrible airline ad from the mid-60s.
That's what I meant, actually. I wasn't about to scold the collective.
My delivery needed work.
Storm chasers vs iowa cubs - Mike olt just batted, Manny be Manny in the dugout, but I really wanted to see the batting coach.
So, Omaha starter Lamb's delivery gave away his fastball/breaking ball, he has no slide step (and 5 SB against him), and Mike Olt is totally bush league for standing between home and the on deck circle back by the backscreen and timing pitches. If I was the Omaha coach I would have had the ump get on his @ss about it. Bob Gibson would have drilled him back in the day. Oh, and he can't hit the offspeed stuff.

Haven't seen word one from Pepper today...
One.
(Huh?)
What we really need is one of these:
Hmm. What am I doing wrong here? Uploaded to library...
Which part that you did wrong were you curious about? π (fixed)
Any and all.
