Watched this for the first time in years and just had to share it on a Saturday. My friend shared this with me years ago. It brings back memories of all the laughs we've shared; all the humor he has put in front of me over the years. Now he's a pastor – by way of The Brave New Workshop.

    1. I only saw SCTV periodically, mostly in college, so I missed this one. Great stuff, bjhess!

      1. SCTV and SNL were HS stables. The SCTV episode that was the most memorable to me was one that was a sort of mashup of Poltergeist but with the Love Boat cast. The whole episode Gavin McLeod went on how he was just so lucky, and then he is the only one not to survive the episode.

        Dave Thomas has got a whole arsenal of surprising impressions.

          I don't think SCTV was broadcast on any of my local channels (Rochester, Austin, Mason City). Hell, the NBC affiliate (Rochester) didn't even carry SNL the first couple of years (it was picked up by the Spamtown ABC affiliate, of all things; no, seriously!)
