I can't wait to see what he does his handicap is next August!
FTFY
I wish I shared your optimism.
Can we get a designated runner for Sano?
On the board!
Smoke? Check.
Mirrors? Check.
Okay, let's go, guys, pile it on.
woot wooooot!
Chris Sale is no Jeremy, that's for sure
I thoroughly love that he pitches pretty dang good against everyone but the twins.
Ruth Rusie has been on the radio ad since 2010, and she was 90 when the campaign started. Looks like she's still kickin'
Dazzle has a good point: even if Berrios isn't in the plans for this fall, at least bring him up so he can experience a pennant run and learn a lot from the bench.
Not sure if the service time is worth it for that.
YOU NEVER PLAYED THE GAME
Sorry, forgot about the leadership aspect.
Dont know how many of you have the tv feed, but Jack Morris said that if Eddie Rosario can bump his batting average to .300, he could become a Hall of Fame player.
If that gets him 3000 hits then yes, he could be.
Just as long as he doesn't pitch to the score.
3000 hits with his current PA:AB ratio means he would need 10,437 PAs. Of all the players with that many PAs or higher, only four started in their age 23 season or later compared to 46 at 22 or earlier. Those four players are Steve Finley, Wade Boggs, Paul Waner, and Ozzie Smith.
I suppose.
If Rosario would walk a few more times, he would be a great player to have. I'll take a ~.275/.330/.450 with good defense any day.
Suzuki not doing any favors for Duffey's location this inning.
Especially with CB "I'll call anything close a strike" Bucknor calling the balls and strikes.
This is becoming a little uncomfortable...
Bases loaded, two outs? Just wanting to lift the Sox' spirits before dashing them to the rocks.
well...Duffey'd
dang.
Still have the lead, time to pile on some more against Sale.
If only Hicks was in right instead.
I think Arcia has better range than Hunter.
Time for a little Fien-esse
THAT'S NOT FIEN-ESSE
Sigh.
Good God, replace ii already
Dozier just missed his pitch.
I think this game turned because of the stupid win stat. A rookie cruising with a four-run lead gets two outs in the fifth inning and suddenly can't throw strikes.
I thought Molly pulled him out at the right time. He needed to let Duffey pitch to at least one more batter just to get Cotts warmed up.
Not sure why it was Cotts though, if he wasn't going to face the lefty leadoff batter. Faced a righthander instead.
Because Veteran.
Whew. Got out of that inning at least. Sox had 1 base runner through 4 2/3 innings. Since then, 6 hits and 3 walks.
In a meaningless September game (for them), the White Sox are letting their franchise player start an inning with 110 pitches thrown. That's idiotic.
I hope Jones gives that pitch to Sano so he can tie this game up.
Worth every penny. -- TSWoC

SAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNONONONONOONONNOONNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Why do you give Sano anything close with Hunter on deck with two outs?
HA HA HA
Do you wanna build a Sano-man?
Well, thanks to this, I just figured out my daughter's favorite player ever.
I'm gonna have to get a Sano shirsey at this rate.
Double E.
TWINS BASEBALL!!
TWINS BASEBALL!!
TWINS BASEBALL!!TWINS BASEBALL!!
Infield double!
holy hell he's fast
Dick Bremer: "Through the thirdbaseman!"
Me: "White Sox baseball!"
Only 1 RBI for Mauer. Not clutch enough.
Suzuki clogging the bases.
OMG Buxton
Didn't even have to consider sliding. On a fly ball to middle/shallow center field.
He scored on a sac fly where the ball went maybe 50 feet past second base. Adam Eaton's arm is not the best, but he scored easily, without a slide.
He was even slowing down as he neared the plate.
Did Molitor just pinch-hit for Torii?
Hunter walked his last at bat (it probably went unnoticed because everyone was still agog over Sano) was Robinson pinch ran for him.
Ah
This practical joke is not very funny.
Well, the way this game had gone, you knew it couldn't be easy.
another heart attack 9th
I pine for the old Perk
Light up some puppies and release the fireworks!
Saw this gem pop up on my feed last night.
