My daughters still love hunting for the eggs I hide. I hope this doesn't change for a couple more years.

Holy crap, the "Troubleshoot problems" option for the internet connection in Windows actually worked for once! I don't think I've ever seen that before...

My kids are 16 and 17. I was up at 6 am today, as the wife still insists on hiding Easter eggs. Except now we are putting folding money in the eggs and not just jingle (other treats inside as well). It is still fun watching them hunt them down. So, I think you do have hope for a while yet.
This was the first year with coins in the eggs for my kids ... I'm not sure where the scratch went after they opened all the eggs they found.
Do you put the coins in before you boil them or after?
Both options seem difficult.
Yes
At Easter brunch. Got in line with Randy Shaver. I know, you all probably want to touch me now.
I think most if not all of the WGOM is on board with that.
Some notable former Twins:
Kurt Suzuki is 1-12 with an rbi
Aaron Hicks has 7 walks to 3k's and has 2 HR's
Ben Revere has zero stolen bases
Ricky Nolasco has given up 19 hits in 16.2 innings
Eduardo Nunez is batting .341 and tied for the league lead in stolen bases (and way out in front in "losing ones helmet for no reason" )
Tommy Milone has given up 18 hits in 11 IP
Oswaldo Arcia is in the minors.
Drew Pomeranz (who is on my bench, incidentally), has given up 4 Rs in 4.0 IP. He also has 10 Ks.
Wild on national TV, and I'm going to watch (I'm sure it'll end in me being heartbroken).
I have it on, but volume lowered because of Pierre McGuire.
I hear you, brother. I get almost no hockey exposure here, so I'll deal with the pain.
starting early on the heartbreak.
I'm amazed how quickly I got over this game.
Ryan Reaves & Jason Zucker went at it during a faceoff, the linesman got mad & the exchange is funny (r @k_karl) pic.twitter.com/vUXOP3KtLy

Was that a Wild PP? I couldn't tell...
Blues score on the PP. Now 2-1, which means this game is essential over.
Ugh.
But did they dominate the possession battle while taking lots of long shots while having nobody else in the zone to get rebounds and/or with men posted at the side of the net instead of in front of it?
What little I watched (the last 11 mins), any long shots they attempted were being blocked, so it didn't matter about positioning. Coyle had a wraparound that would have scored if he didn't hit the pipe. Of course, if Coyle's stick doesn't break in OT, the Wild would only be down 2-1 in the series and would only need to win Game 4 to tie up the series and have the momentum going into Game 5. And that's assuming winning in OT doesn't give the Wild enough of a lift to help them win Game 2 and/or Game 3.
How is James Paxton only 8th? He hasn't allowed a run yet and is tied with Clayton Kershaw for the most Ks of anyone on the list. He's the only one without a Victory Bonus, which I'm thinking is a mistake.
That bonus for "playoff team" is pretty bogus, especially this time if year
It should at least by playoff-probability weighted, rather than all-or-none based on current standings.
And why is Carsten Charles getting it? "Victory Bonus is a 12-point bonus awarded for leading your team to the division championship". NYY are a half-game back (but lead the Wild Card by a game over the Twins).
Fixing that (using BP's Division probability Forecast):
1. Santana 33.08
2. Keuchel 31.25
3. Paxton 27.31
(There could be someone on Cleveland that's not in the top ten as listed but which would be higher than Santana.)
The order doesn't appear to change if we use "First Wild Card" as worth anything.
In the NL, any non-playoff team could have a player not in the listed top ten that would be higher than Holland after the adjustment.
that would definitely make more sense than the current system

Friday's for us. Always room for a small party
Fangraphs is echoing JeffA on Buxton. Let him play.

Big Erv with MLB's best Game Score so far (as well as leapfrogging to the top of the Cy Predictor); Hector's game today should make the list tomorrow
