Griffin Jax pitched six shutout innings before giving up a couple of runs in the seventh. A win would give the Miracle a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five league championship series.
    Ryan Jeffers singled home a run in the first to give Cedar Rapids a 1-0 lead. The Kernels are batting in the fourth. Bryan Sammons has struck out five in four shutout innings.

  3. David Banuelos delivers an RBI double in the fourth. Cedar Rapids now leads 2-0 in the bottom of the fifth.
    Fort Myers had a bases-loaded hit batsman in the seventh to increase its lead to 11-2. The game is now in the bottom of the eighth.

    Cedar Rapids continues to lead 2-0 with the game now in the bottom of the sixth.

  8. Peoria gets a two-run single from Nick Dunn in the ninth. The Kernels go down in order. Peoria wins 5-3 and takes a 1-0 lead in the series.
