This is here.
Now four runs before Varland pitches.
I've always said the Twins are clutch when the bases are loaded
Umpire should bring back the balloon protectors when they are behind home plate
Hell yeah. One of the high school kids who umpires little league games uses one.
LOL Varsho AGAIN misses a HR catch
but also DONNIE BARRELS !
Royce Lewis has 7 straight singles
well, this inning stinks
He just wants Showtime
Julien enjoys playing in his home country, looks like
So, how many straight successful steals does that make with today's?
23, I think
Team record then, I believe it was 21
The umpire scorecard today will be brutal
Of course
lol of course
Hello* bells
*thanks, auto-correct -- I'll go with that anyway
Well, that was sad.
at least we are not Chicago
Jose Miranda may be coming around at last in StP. Last 7 day slash 409/480/591
I don't know if there is a spot for him on the roster any more, however. Maybe some DH time with Buxton out? But Lewis seems like he could stick at 3rd and Julien might make Polanco expendable.
If he could play a corner OF spot, he might be a better option as a RH bench guy than Garlick, who hasn't shown a whole lot.
Twins are flush with left-handed 1B/COF bats.
Which is part of why there might be a spot for Miranda. Garlick isn't the solution for a RH bench bat and sometimes COFer.
According to the St. Paul announcer, he'd been hitting a lot of balls hard before that, too, and just hadn't had any luck.
