A weird one in that I abandoned correct ideas because I was cycling through them too quickly, so it took me a long time despite seeing the last two concepts early on.
I had a sense about the MNS Movies right off the bat but couldn't put my finger on it for a while. Split is the movie I couldn't place for the longest time.
Not sure what’s with my argon obsession. With the first result it’s almost always my second guess.
Failed Connections and not thrilled about it. Had no problem with the intended hardest category but couldn’t do anything but “one away…” the others.

I thought the last couple Connections on Saturday were challenging. I know the NYT Crossword is hardest on Saturday so I wondered on previous weeks if the same is true for Connections.
I've found slowing down my guesses to be helpful. Even if I'm relatively sure I know a group, I'll try to figure out one or two more before I make any guesses. Usually helps me catch hasty choices.
I did this one slowly, I hate to admit. Still bugged by it.
