Louisville 7, Rochester 3 in Rochester. A three-run Bats fifth broke a 2-2 tie. Chase Lambin singled and doubled. Eric Hacker gave up five runs on eight hits and no walks in 6.2 innings.
New Britain 10, Binghamton 8 in Binghamton. The Rock Cats scored six in the second and built a 10-3 lead after four before the Mets scored five in the seventh to get back into the game. Chris Herrmann had a triple, a double, and two singles, driving in three. Deibinson Romero had a double and two singles. Yangervis Solarte had three hits, Chris Parmelee and Daniel Rohlfing each had two, and Joe Benson hit a home run. Liam Hendriks gave up seven hits and four walks in five innings, but only allowed three runs and got the win. Tyler Robertson struck out four in two scoreless innings to get the save.
Dunedin 7, Ft. Myers 1 in Ft. Myers. The Miracle scored in the first, but that was where the good news ended. Josmil Pinto singled and doubled, getting two of the three Ft. Myers hits. Edgar Ibarra surrendered five runs on six hits and four walks in 4.2 innings.
Kane County 8, Beloit 2 in Kane County. The Cougars scored six in the second and the game was pretty much over. Lance Ray was 2-for-2 with two walks and Tobias Streich had two hits. Manuel Soliman surrendered all eight runs (two earned) on seven hits and a walk in 3.1 innings. Three relief pitchers held Kane County scoreless the rest of the way, with Ryan O’Rourke pitching 1.2 innings, Blayne Weller two, and Jose Gonzalez one.
