Starter Dennis Suarez made his Rock Cats debut, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks in four innings. The win went to Deolis Guerra, who struck out seven in four shutout innings, giving up just two hits and a walk. Bruce Pugh pitched a perfect ninth to get the save.
