Not Swedish enough for my tastes.
Of all the singers who have died prematurely, I think I'm most pissed off about Croce.
Totally agree.
Seconded. Photographs and Memories was my first LP. Great singer and great lyricist
Croce was thirty when he died?! I've never seen a single shot of him that looks younger than about forty. I had no idea he was that young.
Getting closer, I guess, but I think that mustache is always going to play tricks on me.
Croce was thirty when he died?!
yeah, this was my exact thought as well.
Hank Williams was 29 when he passed. I defy you to find a picture of him where he looks under 40. (Granted, his liver probably looked like that of a much older dude.)
wasn't Keef about the same age when he died?
That is beautiful.
The walrus was Paul.
I'd go with Buddy Holly.
Otis Redding
I'll second Redding, not that there's a dearth of choices.
amy winehouse.
Ten stars for great facial hair.
You don't tug on Superman's cape
You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger
And you don't mess around with JI
