  1. It would've been nice for Spurs to get Gary Cahill, but I am not too sore over it. Frankly, the club is in pretty good shape getting Scotty Parker, Brad Friedel and Adebayor on loan.

Ruiz is a good pickup for Fulham.

I hope anybody who became a fan of Everton after Landon's stint aren't anymore. Poor David Moyes.

  2. Arteta has been so fun to watch when healthy, but he's got a decent case of Maueritis. Still, without Beckford, who exactly is Everton expecting to score?

    1. Saha when he's not injured, and Cahill when he's not injured.

Other than that maybe Felleini in a pinch, or a lucky bounce over on a Timmy punt.

  3. I think Steve Bruce had to bring in a striker or he was going to lose the fanbase the first time Sunderland got shut out. Don't know much about Bendtner, but he seems like the right type of player to fill the role the Cats need until some of their newer signings mature.

For a team that did so much over the summer, it was kind of strange to see people clamoring for another move. I guess that's what 1 goal in 4 matches will get you.

  4. I finally got to see ManU dismantle Arsenal last night. How Crap! Like the announcer said, "This is Arsenal they are doing this to!" Does not bode well for The Blues that is for sure.

    1. I should point out that's in terms of transfer fees, not player wages. Everton has acquired players this year, but either on loan or free transfers.
