Just noticed Delmon Young was left off the Tigers' roster. Definitely rooting for Rangers now.
i randomly came across this again on the interwebs tonight. i'll put it here because, one, mr. buck is calling a great game as usual, and two, how did MLB allow this to be embedded?
1: Buck doesn't work for MLB
2: MLB thinks he's a loser, too.
Justin Timberlake = my hero
This can also be a Wild game log, if anyone's into that. I doubt two posts are necessary.
3-0!!! WOOOOOO! Wild are gonna take the Cup!
Heatley to Setoguchi to make it 4-1. Hope we see a lot of that this season.
The shots on goal make me giddy.
Also, PMB with the double minor!
I missed that when it happened, but the Columbus TV guys are beside themselves (saying it was a "two-handed swing" and calling for a suspension). Russo says it was a self-inflicted high stick by the CBJ player.
Russo is right but it looked really bad. I think that just as the Jacket player went to lift his stick PMB tried to chop straight down on his stick, which made PMB's stick launch right into the other guy's face. Bouchard immediately dropped his stick on the ice. It was an accident but the result was a 90 degree swing into the mouth. Not pretty.
Based on his history, game and reaction, I'd vote total accident. But he looked like McCracken for half a second.
They should have built a roof on that stadium in Arlington.
It hasn't rained here like this in F-O-R-E-V-E-R. no joak.
I know.
and for those of you less fortunate souls who've never made it to the ballpark @ the rangers, be happy that you haven't. Monstrosity, that. (a roof couldn't be constructed even if you had Jerry Jones' checkbook)
I've been there. Hotter than Hell. It was 97 degrees when I left the ballpark at 10PM.
The parking lot must have been 150 plus. Honestly, I don't know how the players do it.
Apparently, the B1G convinced Nebraska to play the patsy.
27-6. Nebraska is being blown off the field by Ohio State.
27-20. Nebraska making a game of it.
Whatever, man. Huskers win, kids!
Huskers were outgained something like 237-132 in the first half, but that reverses to about 337 to 112 in the second half in the Huskers' favor. Biggest comeback in school history.
I'm bummed. Didn't know the game was being broadcast out here on ABC (was out with the Mrs. last night, on a Date!!!!111one111!!!) and missed all but the Victory Formation at the end.
Yeah, that date video isn't creepy at all...
1 minute to go for the Wild. I'd like an empty-netter, but 4-2 should be safe.
Wild win. Perfect season intact.
Rain delay again? Well, Sharks-Coyotes is just starting, perhaps I'll check out Brent Burns in his new threads.
He gets an assist on the power-play goal 5 minutes in. On pace for 984 assists this season.
Aj's hair is pretty... uh... bad.
And baseball is back.
So, longest top of the fifth ever?
I believe most Yankee 5th innings are longer.
Always forget about them.
For a one-run game in the top of the ninth, that was as unsuspenseful as possible with Feliz blowing away every Tiger.

Try old Busch Stadium with the turf.

That was a long time to wait for no more runs.
