back when the hitman played this a few months back, these guys were a little band called "the shakes" that you'd probably never heard of. so much so that there was almost no decent live material to be found. now, it seems these guys are starting to blow up a bit. here's a vid that i'm sure he would have played instead if he'd had access to it.

  1. Thanks to The Hitman for introducing me to the (Alabama) Shakes. First, they're awesome and I love their music. Two, I feel like I got in on the ground floor, so I can feel all superior.

  2. I linked to this clip on FB a few months back and got 4 or 5 people to send personal messages thanking me for turning them on to these guys. I believe my original post even thanked Buffalo.

    They should do the next Super Bowl Halftime Show.
