Opposition stars: Richard Lucas was 2-for-4. Blake Forsythe hit a home run. Chase Hutchingson struck out five in 5.1 innings, allowing one run on four hits and four walks.
Key inning: The seventh. In a 1-1 game, Forsythe hit a home run in the top of the inning to put the Mets ahead 2-1. In the bottom of the half, a walk and an error put runners on first and second with no one out for the Miracle. A force out and a strikeout kept them there with two down, but a walk loaded the bases. Ramirez struck out to end the threat.
Other: Adrian Salcedo started but faced only two men. The second got a hit on a comebacker that struck Salcedo in the face. There was no immediate word on his condition.

Key inning: The seventh. Already leading 3-0, the Snappers scored four times to put the game away. An error, three singles, a walk, and a wild pitch produced the runs.
