Key inning: The fifth. Leading 1-0, the Red Sox scored two. With a runner on first and one out, Ronald Bermudez hit an RBI triple and came home on an error.

Batting stars: Oswaldo Arcia was 2-for-5 with a double and a walk. James Beresford was 2-for-5 with a walk. Aaron Hicks was 2-for-5.
Pitching stars: Dakota Watts struck out four in two shutout innings, giving up one hit. Bruce Pugh struck out two and walked one in two shutout innings. David Bromberg struck out four in 1.2 innings, allowing a hit and a walk.
Opposition stars: Marquez Smith was 3-for-6 with two doubles and a home run. Ryan Pressly and Brock Huntzinger each struck out three in three shutout innings, with Pressly giving up three hits and Huntzinger allowing two walks.
Key inning: The fifteenth. In a 2-2 tie, Smith hit a two-run homer to give the Sea Dogs the runs that turned out to be the difference in the game.
Other: The Rock Cats did not score after the third inning. They stranded 12 and were 1-for-13 with runners in scoring position.

Batting stars: Jonathan Goncalves was 3-for-4. Daniel Ortiz was 2-for-4 with a double.
Pitching stars: Nelvin Fuentes struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up three hits. Michael Tonkin retired all four batters he faced, striking out two.
Opposition stars: Alex Dickerson was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk. Casey Saddler pitched five innings, allowing one run on three hits and a walk.
Key inning: The eighth. The score was tied at two. With one out, the Miracle got consecutive singles by Goncalves, Lance Ray, and Josmil Pinto to score a run and take a 3-2 lead.

Key inning: The sixth. The Snappers led 2-0. A pair of walks and a sacrifice put runners on second and third with one out. Adam Pettersen singled both runners home and scored on a Nate Roberts double. Rosario then singled in the fourth run of the inning to make the score 6-0.
ELIZABETHTON 7, GREENEVILLE 5 IN ELIZABETHTON
Batting stars: Rory Rhodes was 2-for-5 with a home run, his sixth. Travis Harrison was 2-for-3 with a walk and a double. Byron Buxton was 2-for-5.
Pitching star: J. T. Chargois struck out five in 1.2 innings, allowing one hit.
Opposition star: Terrell Joyce was 2-for-3 with two walks and a home run.
Key inning: The seventh. The Twins trailed 5-4. With two out and none on, Rhodes singled and Romy Jimenez walked. Harrison then delivered a two-run double to put Elizabethton ahead.

Batting stars: Joel Licon was 2-for-4 with a double and a home run, his first. Dereck Rodriguez hit a home run, his third.
Pitching stars: Yorman Landa struck out six in five innings, allowing two unearned runs on four hits and no walks. Josue Montanez struck out five in three shutout innings, giving up two hits and a walk.
Opposition stars: Johnny Eierman was 2-for-4 with a double. Damian Carroll struck out five in four innings, allowing an unearned run on one hit.
Key inning: The sixth. The Twins trailed 2-1. Jeremias Pineda led off the inning with a triple and scored on a sacrifice fly to tie the score. Rodriguez then hit a two-run homer to put the Twins ahead.
Other: The Rays out-hit the Twins 7-4.
