This just in: Dazzle saying the Japanese can't run.
I love the Revere-Mastroianni combo at the top of the order. The best would be Mastro 9th, then roll the lineup over to Span and Revere
Not fair!!!
I guess that's what we get for not SEND HIM!!ing him.
I could go for some pulled pork.
Consuelaham just had some beans.
I had some tuna for dinner. I'm thinking I'm gonna need second dinner or I'm gonna get really hungry at work.
brat, bagel chips, and cranberry Mike's Hard Lemonade lite
Irish stew, cornbread.
Montreal seasoned steaks on the grill and a fresh keg of this.
Had to eat on my way to campus. Medium roast beef from Arby's & a diet peach green tea to drink. I ordered a side salad, but the heathens put finely chopped red onion on it. They were too small to get out, so I didn't get that. I loathe raw onions.
Drown it in enough ranch and you won't be able to tell.
Leftover night. Warmed over pot roast and a chicken, black bean and corn quesadilla. Fresh cantaloupe for desert. Later I'll be having a Summit Oktoberfest. I really like that beer.
Ditto. Leftover meatloaf on torta rolls, salad. Maybe a peach smoothie for dessert.
Willinghams 14th HBP this season. He is now the AL leader (Youkilis at 13)
World champ!
well, Quentin of the Padres has 16
That doesn't count. He plays in a pitcher friendly park.
That was a good catch.
Daz: "He was on the Twins' radar chart."
Which one was it, the radar or the chart?
Thanks for pinch hitting tonight for me, Greek.
I'm just happy to be on the team!

Was Mastroianni playing right on the RF line?
I guess it's too much to ask the Twins to score three runs against the M's, huh?

At least F-Her's not pitching.
Time to think small.
Go ask Alice
I think she’ll know
Sorry, you didn't build this city.
Thank god - now B.R. can get back to keeping the 6th best batting average.
I think the key to Twins baseball™ is when it there is a grouping of errors that do not result in a run.
He was intentionally throwing at the runner!
6-game ban, I say.
glove save..... and a beauty!
the Twins are being no hit
hits? who needs hits?
Agent Smith clears up that small tidbit.
without looking, Dustin Ackley probably has 5 HRs, 25 RBI and hitting at least .500 against the Twins.
tonight? That would be some sort of record.
Time to go to work. Later fellas.
the way this game is going, the Twins will have back to back complete games by the pitchers, and lose both games.
well, the "lose both games" goes without saying
Brilliant strategy by the Twins here: Suck for Buxton in 2011, Assy for Appel in 2012. Twins World Series Champs 2015!
Is that the same Oliver Perez that sucks?
Looks that way.
F bombs really carry when the stadium is this quiet.
Save situation!
First <30,000 crowd at Target Field.
they anticipated that, so that's why they lowered payroll. or something.
Had the Twins scored two on Monday night, they'd have won, so this is really just a matter of bad timing. So, I guess we'll have to settle for 85-77! I don't mean to be a pessismist, but I'm starting to think this team may not be able to make the playoffs.
85-77, that was the record of the 1987 World Champion Minnesota Twins.
I was thinking that, too. But with a second wildcard, 85 wins might be enough.
Has anyone ever analyzed teams' best possible records given their distribution of runs scored?
I don't know if it would result in anything, but maybe by sorting runs for and against separately, seeing what could result with different outcomes. Would that produce interesting results? Probably not, but I'm curious. I'd probably want to separate runs scored in 9 against runs scored in extras, and save those extra-inning runs for and against to break any ties. I might have an Excel project for tonight...
Am I the only one who cares?
Probably, and I only care for a few innings before I hit the hay.
LEEEWWWWWWW!!!
SEND HIM!!
SEND HIM!!! SEND HIM!!!!! SEND HIM!! SEND HIM!!! SEND HIM!!!!!
