I stayed on the diet yesterday, but I did not go to the gym and I focused on maintaining a good hydration level. That's not to say that I get any physical exercise. There were a couple of spots in my yard that I had pulled flowers out of earlier this summer and I had targeted Labor Day weekend as the time when they would get planted. I probably had about 80 to 100 sq. feet of area to plant, but first I had to prepare the soil. It was as hard as a rock, so working the soil was tough work and I was sweating mightily. I drank a lot of water yesterday and that was a real good thing, because I was sweating it out, too. I wonder if I should be concerned about minerals lost in all that sweat.
I needed that day off, even if this is a travel night meaning that I won't get to the gym tonight, either. Twayn, you are on for tomorrow, as I will be prepping for a morning meeting. So, anyway, I gained 0.3 pounds, which isn't bad at all, given my refocus on hydration.
Day 42
Weight: 260.9
Total Loss: 23.6
Weight Loss per Day: 0.58 pounds
I am in the process of losing 170 lbs today. MrsS plans to hover. The Girl and I plan to wander campus and leave him be. #dontbethoseparents
Congratulations and welcome home.
Rode 70 miles yesterday to Stillwater, boy it got hot at the tail end of that ride. Then I went to my parents and had a huge steak, drinks and wine. I may have canceled any good I did with the bike ride in a 1/2 hour of gluttony.
Or you could think of it as the ride may have cancelled out any bad you did in that meal, allowing yourself to enjoy your parents' company and dinner offerings without guilt.
Also, it's okay to splurge like that once in a while, as long as you don't make a habit of it. One isolated big meal, even of non-healthy food, isn't likely to hurt you. The trick is to keep it at one isolated meal.
I call that bingercising.

Just had a huge omelette after my shift this morning. I hate mornings mostly in the frozen section. Too damn cold. Gonna ride out to the Y and lift a bit after lunch settles. Then work tonight.
I rode out to the Y, did about 1/2 a rotation and called it a day. Came home and slept for 5 hours. I was just too tired and I couldn't concentrate. I decided to pack it in before I hurt myself somehow.
