Yesterday was another painting day and by the time I got done, I was so tired that going to the gym was out of the question. Instead, I went this morning. I didn't do a good job of hydrating yesterday, so this morning, I drank a quart of water during my workout and still felt thirsty. I wasn't too good this morning, so I cut my workout short. I would like to shift the workout to the morning, so we'll see how this goes. Today will be a day of water drinking. This is the thing that I have to watch the most, I think.
Day 62
Weight: 250.8
Total Lost: 33.7
% of Goal: 39.88
I find that I drink more if I make sure it is cold. I keep water with me (well, iced tea first, then water) all the time at work and I even take a container packed with ice cubes to add to my water bottle. Most importantly, I got a large water bottle that is insulated so it will stay cold for hours and won't sweat. It really helps.
Stick, I'm thinking that if you were dog-tired from painting all day, you probably got plenty of a workout in.
I did, in fact. I am pretty tired today, for sure. I have a couple of projects to do tonight but then it's hit the hay early.
6 miles after work today. Man it's getting dark earlier very quickly.
Felt tough after Saturday's 12 miler. Wore the water belt, but only drank half of what I was carrying (say what?).
Compression tights afterwards, and vegan nacht (Whole Foods various pre-made tofus, orzo, falafel and broccoli).
I can't wait to have a place so I can at least put my pull-up bar up somewhere. I'm getting a little antsy.
