Twins:  Chris Colabello (Guasave) was 1-for-4 with a two-run homer.

Game summary:  Colabello’s homer broke a 2-2 tie in the sixth. Guasave got three more in the seventh to put the game away.

Obregon:  Barbaro Canizares hit a two-run homer.

Guasave:  Zelous Wheeler (Baltimore) was 2-for-3 with a home run and a walk, scoring twice.  Luis De La O worked 2.2 perfect innings with two strikeouts.

MAZATLAN 4, NAVOJOA 2 IN NAVOJOA

Twins:  Anthony Slama allowed one run on two hits and a walk in one inning.

Game summary:  Mazatlan built a 4-0 lead after three innings.  Navojoa scored once in the ninth and got the tying run on base with one out.

Mazatlan:  Sergio Valenzuela gave up one run in five innings while striking out four.  Ivan Terrazas was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer.

Navojoa:  Kraig Binick was 2-for-4 with a walk.  Steve Moss was 2-for-5.

CULIACAN 9, LOS MOCHIS 2 IN CULIACAN

Game summary:  Culiacan scored four in the third to take a 5-0 lead.

Los Mochis:  Jesus Arredondo (Dodgers) was 2-for-5 with an RBI.

Culiacan:  Amauri Sanit pitched six shutout innings, giving up only one hit and one walk.  Ramiro Pena was 3-for-4 with a double and a home run, driving in three.

HERMOSILLO 6, MEXICALI 3 IN HERMOSILLO

Game summary:  Jesse Gutierrez hit a two-run homer in the seventh to break a 3-3 tie.

Mexicali:  Chris Roberson was 1-for-3 with a double and two walks, scoring twice and driving in one.  Isauro Pineda worked two shutout innings.

Hermosillo:  Jose Aguilar was 3-for-3 with a walk, scoring once and driving in two.  Pablo Menchaca allowed only a walk in three shutout innings.
