TwinsJaDamion Williams (Sydney) was 0-for-4 with a walk.  Jacob Younis (Sydney) was 2-for-4 with a double and a walk, driving in one.

Game summary:  Joshua Roberts won the game with a two-run homer.

Brisbane:  James Albury struck out six in five shutout innings, giving up three hits and three walks.  Adam Gordon was 2-for-4.

Sydney:  Craig Anderson allowed an unearned run on four hits and a walk in six innings.  Mitch Dening (Boston) doubled and walked.

ADELAIDE 4, MELBOURNE 0 IN MELBOURNE

Game summary:  Adelaide scored three in the third to break a scoreless tie.

Adelaide:  Zachary Fuesser (Pittsburgh) struck out five in six innings, giving up four hits and a walk.  Chris Adamson was 2-for-4, scoring once and driving in one.

Melbourne:  Andrew Mann struck out two in two shutout innings.

    1. If I was choosing just based on location, I'd agree with you. My impression is that the quality of competition is not as high in the Australian League, though, so if I was choosing for development as a player, I'd probably choose the Dominican League. I'd have said the Venezuelan League, but I think I'd have too many concerns about safety there.
