E. My edit is just cutting off the "Lesson" at the end.
2. Conway Twitty “Tight Fittin' Jeans” Silver Anniversary Edition
Conway Twitty is one interesting dude. The guy got a bodacious amount of tail in his day and had a bunch of songs loaded with single entrendres. Looking at him, he seems like a goofy country guy but the man had a way with the ladies.
I just picked this up from Cheapo last month on my birthday. I've stopped finding current music I'm interested in there, so I'm mostly using them to widen my horizons. I found Merle at the Fetus, but my love of Mama Tried made me wonder what else is out there.
Plus, I've got a self-made bootleg of Lydia Loveless playing Twitty, and a Meat Puppets b-side of them playing Twitty, and my favorite scene ever from Family Guy is just an old Conway Twitty clip. I seem to think I've got another Twitty cover hanging around somewhere, but I can't remember what it is.

Did you find any takers on Soundgarden? $60 is a lot but I am still thinking about it. It fits my old man rule of only going to concerts on the weekend.
Do you want me to try to grab you a HHT Euro Tour tshirt next Friday?
That was it! The HHT Euro tour shirt! A large if there were any left. They sold out online faster than I got my order in. (I waited a day.)
They might sell out on Thursday night in KC. I won't be disappointed if there aren't any left or you just forget. But it would be a huge cool favor if you would. Enjoy the show!
As for Soundgarden, I'll be going with a former co-worker, with whom I've basically had a pact for 10 years that if Soundgarden got back together and came to the Twin Cities, we'd go. It was a soft pact: no bodily fluids were involved, nor did we pledge misfortune on ourselves if one of us backed out of the deal.
$60 is a damned lot, but the Orpheum is also damned small. Probably the best concert I ever saw was at the Orpheum. It was Jewel. She was fantastic, which really bums me out more how greatly she's sucked since then. (Not completely sucked, she's had moments, but even that first single from the second album, "Hands", sounded like a well-executed parody.)
I will do my best.
i saw nick cave at the orpheum (or the state, i forget; whichever is on the east side of hennipen). it was epic. pantages is a decent place to see a concert too.
State is on the East side. Orpheum is even smaller on the West.
I'm psyched, you guys. I got my cash to my former co-worker who's going to be at the box office at noon.
Do they do lotteries at venues' box office or is that just Ticketmaster?
Can of Corn:
I'll be in the Phalen neighborhood on Thanksgiving. Will you be around then? My Aunt and Uncle are very welcoming to new people: if you'd want to stop over for a beer, that'd be cool. Maybe I could bring over some of my reserves.
This has nothing to do with FMD, but FMD is like my "column", so I'll do what I want.
