TwinsChris Colabello (Guasave) was 3-for-4 with a double, scoring once and driving in one.

Game summary:  Culiacan led 5-0 after two.  Guasave tied the score after four.  Culiacan scored one in the sixth and three in the eighth.

Guasave:  Eduardo Arredondo was 4-for-5 and scored once.  Jesus Cota was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Culiacan:  Ronnier Musetlier (Yankees) was 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, and a walk, scoring twice and driving in five.  Ramiro Pena was 3-for-3 with a walk and a run.

Game summary:  An Alexis Gomez RBI double in the seventh tied the score at three and a Saul Soto RBI single put Los Mochis in the lead to stay.

Navojoa:  Matt Esquivel was 2-for-4 with a home run.  Wes Bankston hit a home run.

Los Mochis:  Jesus Rodriguez gave up one run on four hits and two walks in five innings.

Jason Botts was 2-for-3 with a home run and scored twice.

MEXICALI 8, MAZATLAN 1 IN MAZATLAN

Game summary:  Jorge Guzman hit a two-run homer in the fourth to break a 1-1 tie.  Mexicali scored three more in the sixth to take control.

Mexicali:  Rafael Diaz allowed one run on three hits and no walks in six innings.  Guzman was 3-for-5 and scored twice.

Mazatlan:  Yair Lozoya struck out five in 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up one hit and two walks.  Oswaldo Morejon was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

HERMOSILLO 9, OBREGON 2 IN OBREGON

Game summary:  Hermosillo scored three in the first and built a 7-0 lead before Obregon scored.

Hermosillo:  Jesse Gutierrez was 3-for-4 with a home run and a walk, scoring twice.  Todd Cunningham (Atlanta) was 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI.

Obregon:  Carlos Valencia was 2-for-4.
