The Twins did okay.

GUASAVE 9, LOS MOCHIS 3 IN LOS MOCHIS

Twins:  Chris Colabello (Guasave) was 1-for-4.

Game summary:  Guasave scored two in the third to take a 3-2 lead and got four in the fifth to take control.

Guasave:  Japhet Amador was 4-for-5 with a double and two home runs, scoring three times and driving in four.  Freddy Sandoval was 2-for-4 with a home run.

Los Mochis:  Ramon Orantes was 2-for-4 with a home run.  Jason Botts was 1-for-3 with a double and a walk, driving in two.

HERMOSILLO 7, NAVOJOA 1 IN HERMOSILLO

Twins:  Gonzalo Sanudo (Navojoa) pitched two-thirds of an inning, giving up only a walk.

Game summary:  Hermosillo scored six in the fourth to break a 1-1 tie.

Navojoa:  Matt Esquivel was 2-for-2 with two walks.  Jose Chavez was 2-for-4 with twou doubles and a walk.

Hermosillo:  Dennys Reyes struck out six in 5.2 innings, allowing just one run on five hits and five walks.  Jose Aguilar was 1-for-3 with a double, scoring once and driving in two.

CULIACAN 3, MEXICALI 2 IN MEXICALI

Game summary:  Culiacan led 3-0 after three.  Mexicali got the tying run to second with two out in the ninth.

Culiacan:  Amauri Sanit pitched 6.2 innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on three hits and five walks.  Marlon Byrd was 2-for-5 with two RBIs.

Mexicali:  Geronimo Gil was 1-for-2 with two walks.  Jeff Mandel struck out two in two shutout innings.

OBREGON 8, MAZATLAN 4 IN MAZATLAN

Game summary:  Leading 1-0, Obregon scored four in the seventh.  Mazatlan did not get closer than four runs.

Obregon:  Marco Carillo pitched seven innings, giving up one run on seven hits and a walk.  Agustin Murillo was 3-for-3 with two walks, scoring twice and driving in one.

Mazatlan:  Jesse Castillo was 3-for-4 with a double and scored twice.  Humberto Sosa was 3-for-4 with a double and scored once.
