Twins:  Josue Montanez (Ponce) pitched a perfect inning.

Game summary:  Ponce led 4-0 after two and 7-4 after five.  Caguas scored single runs in the seventh and eighth and got the tying run to third base in both the eighth and the ninth.

Ponce:  Reggie Abercrombie was 2-for-4 with a home run, scoring once and driving in one.  Jared Hoying (Texas) was 2-for-5, scoring once and driving in two.

Caguas:  Edgardo Baez was 2-for-4 with a double and a triple, scoring once and driving in one.  Carlos Rivera was 1-for-4 with a double, a walk, and three RBIs.

Game summary:  Santurce scored one in the fifth to take a 4-0 lead.  Carolina scored single runs in the fifth, seventh, and eighth.  Carolina got the tying run to second with one out in the eighth, but did not get anyone on in the ninth.

Santurce:  Jason Lowey gave up one run on four hits in three innings, walking three and striking out four.  Luis Rivera hit a home run.

Carolina:  Julio Rodriguez (Philadelphia) struck out three in four shutout innings, allowing no hits and one walk.  Kyle Blanks (San Diego) was 2-for-4 with a home run.
