OBREGON 12, NAVOJOA 0 IN NAVOJOA

TwinsGonzalo Sanudo (Navojoa) gave up one run on three hits and no walks in two innings.

Game summary:  Obregon scored three in the first, three in the third, and five in the fifth.

Obregon:  Marco Carillo pitched six innings, giving up four hits and a walk.  Carlos Valencia was 3-for-5 with a double and a home run, scoring twice and driving in five.

Navojoa:  Misael Valenzuela struck out two in two perfect innings.  Ben Broussard was 2-for-3.

GUASAVE 11, MEXICALI 10 IN MEXICALI

Game summary:  Mexicali led 8-3 after six.  Guasave scored one in the seventh, four in the eighth, and three in the ninth while Mexicali merely scored single runs in the eighth and ninth.  Ivan Araujo hit a pinch-hit, two-run double to put Guasave in the lead in the ninth.

Guasave:  Mario Valenzuela was 2-for-4 with a walk and scored three times.  Eduardo Arredondo was 2-for-5 with a double, scoring twice and driving in one.

Mexicali:  Ruben Rivera was 3-for-4 with a walk, scoring twice and driving in one.  Luis Juarez was 2-for-5 with a double, scoring once and driving in three.

MAZATLAN 12, HERMOSILLO 1 IN MAZATLAN

Game summary: Leading 3-1 after five, Mazatlan scored four in the sixth and four in the seventh.

Hermosillo: Jorge Cantu was 2-for-4 with a triple. Jose Amador was 1-for-2 with an RBI.

Mazatlan: Walter Silva pitched eight innings, allowing one run on six hits and a walk. Jose Orozco was 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, and three RBIs.
