Twins: Luis Perdomo (Aguilas) pitched a perfect inning with one strikeout.
Game summary: Aguilas led 3-0 after four. Oriente tied it with three in the sixth and scored four in the seventh to take control. Eliezer Mesa hit a three-run homer to give Oriente the lead.
Oriente: Luis Jimenez (Angels) was 3-for-5 with a double and a two-run homer. Robinzon Diaz was 2-for-4 and scored once.
Aguilas: Joaquin Arias (San Francisco) was 3-for-5 with a double and scored once. Francisco Pena (Mets) was 1-for-2 with two walks and scored once.
ESTE 5, ESCOGIDO 4 IN ESCOGIDO
Game summary: Este scored five runs in the first two innings. Escogido cut it to 5-4 in the seventh. They had the tying run on third with one out in the eighth, but their last five batters were retired.
Este: Frank Diaz was 3-for-3 with a home run and a walk. Jordany Valdespin (Mets) was 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs.
Escogido: Fernando Abad (Washington) struck out seven in five innings, giving up an unearned run on four hits and one walk. Esteban German was 2-for-4 and scored once.
