Opposition stars: Matt Barnes struck out seven in six innings, allowing one run on five hits and a walk. Michael Almanzar was 3-for-5 with a home run and scored twice. Heiker Meneses was 3-for-4 with two doubles and a walk, scoring once and driving in two.
Key inning: The fifth. Leading 4-1, the SeaDogs scored six time to put the game away. They batted ten, getting four singles, a double, and two walks. Christian Vazquez had a two-run double in the inning. The runs came off reliever Marty Popham.

Batting stars: Eddie Rosario was 4-for-5 with a home run (his second) and four RBIs. Michael Gonzales was 3-for-4 with two two-run homers (his third and fourth) and a walk, scoring three times. Adam Pettersen was 3-for-5 with a home run (his first) and a walk, scoring twice and driving in two.
Pitching stars: D. J. Baxendale pitched seven innings, giving up a run on four hits and no walks while striking out four. Cole Johnson pitched a perfect inning.
Opposition stars: Travis Taijeron was 2-for-3 with a home run. T. J. Rivera was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
Key inning: The fourth. Leading 2-1, the Miracle scored nine runs. They batted twelve, getting four singles, a walk, and four home runs. Matt Koch led off the inning with a home run, Kennys Vargas hit a two-run homer, Rosario hit a three-run shot, and Gonzales capped off the inning with a two-run homer.

Batting star: Byron Buxton tripled and drove in the only Kernel run.
Pitching stars: David Hurlbut hurled two shutout innings, giving up one hit. Tim Atherton gave up three hits and a walk but no runs in 1.2 innings.
Opposition stars: Kurt Heyer struck out eight in seven innings, allowing one run on four hits and no walks. Alex Mejia was 2-for-2 with two walks, scoring twice and driving in one. Jordan Walton was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk, driving in two.
Key inning: The fifth. Leading 2-1, the Chiefs put together a single, a walk, and two more singles to score twice. Most of the damage was done off starter Hudson Boyd.
