I also hear this song constantly, and I only listen to the radio when I drive. And I work from home.
Is it just me, or does this song sound a WHOLE LOT like "Home" by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros? It even has the male/female line interplays and the trumpet and shout in the background.

There are definitely similarities.
Was it Patton Oswalt who said 2012 was the year people randomly just started shouting in the background of songs (and I realize "Home" is older, but still)?
that's what i thought when i heard this for the first time.
Maybe they don't have FM radio in these parts but I haven't heard this song before today. I can say that I believe "Home" to be a far superior tune.
"Home" began grating on me. Among other things, someone mentioned Mickey and Sylvia and now I go back to middle school and the Dirty Dancing OST.
Oh and his voice vs. Mr Sharpe.
I caught something else from these folks that had her singing more prominent, and it was decidedly more left-field. But then I looked for more like that and couldn't find it.
Brasswind - Check
Accordion - Check
Drummer drinking a beer in middle of the song - Check
I still like this song. Not listening to the radio helps that quite a bit.
Also, the music video for this one is great.
I still like it, too. The album is pretty good as well.
Yup. Linds got it for me for my birthday last fall, and it's a solid, consistent album.
