CHARLOTTE 4, ROCHESTER 2 IN ROCHESTER
Batting star: Chris Herrmann was 2-for-3 and scored once.
Pitching stars: Luis Perdomo struck out two in 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up two hits. Tyler Robertson pitched a scoreless inning, giving up one hit. Pedro Hernandez pitched five shutout innings, but they yielded one in the sixth and three in the seventh for a final line of 6.2 innings, four runs (three earned), nine hits, and one walk. He struck out seven.
Opposition stars: Zach Stewart pitched eight innings, allowing two runs on five hits. Brent Morel was 3-for-5 with two doubles and a home run, driving in three. Carlos Sanchez was 2-for-4 with a walk and scored once.
Key inning: The seventh. Trailing 2-1, the Knights scored three times. A pair of singles put runners on first and second. A sacrifice and a pop-up left runners on second and third with two out. A walk loaded the bases, and Hernandez left in favor of Perdomo. Morel then hit a bases-clearing double to put Charlotte in front.
NEW BRITAIN AT NEW HAMPSHIRE
The game was suspended after three and a half innings and will be completed today. New Hampshire leads 3-2. So far, Jordan Parraz is 2-for-2 with a home run and Josmil Pinto is 2-for-2 with an RBI. B. J. Hermsen pitched all three innings for the Rock Cats.
FORT MYERS 6, CHARLOTTE 5 IN FORT MYERS
Batting stars: Aderlin Mejia was 4-for-5 and scored twice. Miguel Sano was 2-for-4 with a walk and a double, driving in one. Angel Morales was 2-for-2 with two walks.
Pitching star: Matt Hauser struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up two hits and a walk.
Opposition stars: Alejandro Segovia was 2-for-3 with two walks, a double, and an RBI. Richie Shaffer was 2-for-5 with a double, scoring once and driving in one. Ryan Brett was 2-for-5 with a double and scored once.
Key inning: The ninth. The Miracle led 5-4. A bases-loaded walk tied the score in the top of the ninth. In the bottom of the inning, two singles and a walk loaded the bases with one out. Kennys Vargas hit a sacrifice fly to left to win the game.
BELOIT 5, CEDAR RAPIDS 4 IN BELOIT
Batting stars: Niko Goodrum was 2-for-4 with a walk and scored once. Adam Brett Walker II was 2-for-4, scoring once and driving in two.
Pitching stars: Steven Gruver struck out two in two shutout innings, giving up two hits and a walk. Tim Atherton struck out two in a perfect inning.
Opposition stars: Vincent Voiro struck out four in four shutout innings of relief, allowing two hits and two walks. Bruce Maxwell was 3-for-4 with a double, scoring once and driving in one. Ryan Mathews was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer.
Key inning: The fifth. Cedar Rapids had led 4-1 before a two-run fourth made it 4-3. In the fifth, Maxwell singled and Matt Olson hit a two-out two-run homer to put the Snappers ahead for good. The runs came off Tyler Duffey, who gave up five runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out four in his first bad outing of the year.

Eddie Rosario has played in one game in the last week. I'm reading hints that there's some sort of issue with him, although no one will say what it is. It does not seem to be health-related, although since all I've seen is hints, I can't say for sure. Anyway, I hope they figure it out soon.
These Beloit-Cedar Rapids games are confusing.
Yeah, it always takes me a few seconds to remember that Cedar Rapids is the good guys and Beloit the bad guys, not the other way around.
