Sanchez against Deduno? That didn't go so well the first time. Then again ol' Sam has a 1.50 ERA since then, and since a lot of his other peripherals are sketchy at best, that's the stat I'm choosing to optimistically cherry pick.

I really hate player and coach interviews during the game
"Sanibel" Sanchez. Bert dreaming of Florida again.
Oh man, now I am, too
broken bat single and it scores two. thats just bad luck
PLOUFFE!!DA
Happy Birthday, Trev
PLOUFFFFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sanchez didnt make it to the 5th inning. wow
Bert says Sanchez had a sore shoulder and hasnt pitched in 11 days.
Very pretty, Brian D
that was a nifty double play
Apparently tomorrow PJ Walters will be matching the Twins $1000 donation per K to Prostate Cancer Awareness.
good for him.
the FOX guy not Bert has mentioned golf about 15 times.
YDNROCCPP!!!!!
although Prince was safe
It looked like Fielder was safe.
Actually, his front leg seemed to have skipped over the plate, so maybe he was out.
good call.
nice call by the ump
Parmelee with another assist. Sorry Prince, it looked like your foot bounced over the plate
HR, BB, 2B
nice birthday so far
a lead!
Klete being Klete x3
wait, HOW IN GOD'S NAME IS CLETE LEADING OFF?!?!
because Plouffe is back so Carroll is not playing
mind as well put Mauer in the one hole
Bat Mauer 1-9!
KKKlete
JMIVGABB
Arrrrrrrcia
Plouffe hit it too hard to be a double
well, needs a triple for the cycle
fans muffs a foul ball, Bert plunks him with a grape. LOL
Henry Blanco hit a grand slam for the Mariners.
!!!
Henry Blanco is so old, he played a game with Greg Gagne
Bloomquist hit one once. Anything can happen!
well cr@p. Nice throw, Flo
Florimon is now hitting in the .220s. He cant be imitating Jacque Jones at SS by chucking the ball 25 rows in the stands
Play-by-play guy and Bert discussing whether they would pick Pujols at his peak or Cabrera right now. Both pick Cabrera right now. Cabrera 2010-2013 hit .337/.424/.608 while Pujols from 2001-2010 hit .331/.426/.624. Almost identical, except for Pujols' better defense at first and doing it for triple the plate appearances. The Triple Crown is so mythical it transcends anything else.
yeah, I'll take Pujols
but Miggy is a nice consolation prize
something completely random from digging around b-r, but I didnt realize Juan Rincon was a freaking beast in the bullpen for so long, and his 2004 season was awesome: 77 games, 82 IP, 106 K (11.6 k/9)
Yeah, he was. Until he began turning into his alter-ego Ron.
Ron Wincone? That was the same guy?
Dr. Wincone and Mr. Juan.
Joe's due.
FOX guy asking Bert about hitting strategy is hilarious
about Mauer's great 2-strike hitting
FOX guy: 'its because of his compact swing?'
Bert: 'well...its because the pitcher is trying to make a perfect pitch and misses'
ii, still hacking away at sliders.
everyone in the Twins lineup notched a hit
Alex Cobb hit in the head earlier today with a line drive. Encouraging to see the trainer waste no time in running onto the field.
The birthday boy comes through! Deduno with another Cy Young-worthy performance! We're still on track for 127-35!
