  1. FSN showed a clip of Saunders talking about the draft picks. He said they wanted "winners".

  2. I have a cousin that looks a lot like Ron Coomer. Come to think of it, I don't think I have ever seen the two of them in the same place at the same time.

  3. Wilingham gets a single to RF
I cant remember the last time he got a hit to right

  4. I like it when Ron Coomer breaks down hitting. Seems like I actually learn something.

    1. Yeah, he took away a hit there and made a nice catch on Arcia earlier that inning.

      1. If that falls for a hit and then Clete still hits a home run, the Twins tie the game at 6-6. That's a three-run saving diving catch right there.

  5. with his 3 inning pitched, Swarzak is now 4th on the team in innings pitched. He has started 0 games.

  6. so, there's this:

    Dustin Morse ‏@Twins_morsecode 19s
#MNTwins prospect @SanoMiguel having a big night for New Britain. 3-for-4 with 2 HR & 5 RBI. He has 6 HR in 17 games at Double-A.

    1. The only out came when a guy robbed him of at least a double. The rest of the team had only two hits and he drove in all five runs. His second homer was a three-run shot in the ninth that made it a one-run game.

  7. Starting pitchers are creatures of habit and routine. Walters had clearly geared all of his preparation to be ready for the game to start at 7:10. When there was a delay, it completely threw off his equilibrium. A starting pitcher without equilibrium is not going to be very good. Had they put a roof on that stadium, this would not have happened. As it is, we'll just have to settle for 121-41!
