ROCHESTER 11, BUFFALO 1 IN BUFFALO

Batting stars: Deibinson Romero homered, doubled and walked; Chris Herrmann had a double, a single, a walk, 2 runs scored and an RBI; Doug Bernier was 3-for-6 with an RBI; Antoan Richardson had a double, a single and an RBI.

Pitching stars: Andrew Albers (8-3) gave up 1 run in 7 innings with 5 hits allowed. He struck out 6 and walked none. Cody Eppley pitched 2 hitless innings with 1 BB and 1 K.

Key inning: None. The Wings scored in 7 of the 9 innings.

Notable: Former Twin Bobby Korecky gave up 4 runs -- 3 earned -- in 2 1/3 innings of relief.

NEW HAMPSHIRE 6, NEW BRITAIN 1 IN NEW BRITAIN

Batting stars: Nate Hanson doubled and walked; Danny Santana was 2-for-4.

Key inning: The first: Clint Robinson got a two-out, two-run single in the first inning to give New Hampshire the early 2-0 lead.

Prospect watch: Miguel Sano was 0-for-4 with 3 Ks to drop his batting average to .203. He also had his sixth error at third base. Eddie Rosario was 1-for-4 and took part in two double plays.

FT. MYERS 11, BRADENTON 5 IN FT. MYERS

Batting stars: Mike Kvasnicka had a triple, double and single with three runs scored and an RBI; Jhon Goncalves had two doubles and a single; Byron Buxton went 3-for-5 with a double and an outfield assist for a double play; Candido Pimentel went 3-for-5 with a double, 2 runs and 2 RBIs; Levi Michael had a double and a triple with 2 runs and 3 RBIs.

Pitching stars: Taylor Rogers (7-2) allowed 3 runs in 6 2/3 innings. He allowed 9 hits and a BB with 3 Ks. Corey Williams pitched 1 1/3 perfect innings and struck out 3 of the 4 batters he faced.

Key inning: The sixth. Trailing 3-2, Ft. Myers scored three runs to take a 5-3 lead. Michael's RBI double tied the score. An RBI double by Pimental and an RBI single by Aderlin Mejia put Ft. Myers up for good.

Notable: The Miracle had 21 hits, including 9 doubles. Buxton is batting .400/.419/.467 at Ft. Myers and is 10 for his last 17.

BELOIT 9, CEDAR RAPIDS 2 IN BELOIT

Batting stars: J.D. Williams doubled, singled and walked; Jorge Polanco and Max Kepler were each 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Pitching stars: None.

Key inning: The first. Beloit's first three batters went double, single, home run to give the Snappers a quick 3-0 lead.

Prospect watch: Travis Harrison went 0-for-3 with a BB and a K; Adam Brett Walker II went 0-for-4 with 3 Ks.

JOHNSON CITY AT ELIZABETHTON

Rained out.

GCL TWINS 8, GCL RAYS 2 AT RAYS (6 INNINGS--RAIN)

Batting stars: Joel Polanco had a double, a single and 2 RBIs; Amaurys Minier went 1-for-4 with 3 RBIs and 2 Ks; Engelb Vielma had 2 BBs, 2 runs scored and a sacrifice fly.

Pitching star: Nick Blackburn allowed 2 runs in 4 innings. He allowed 7 hits and no walks with 1 K, 9 ground ball outs and 1 flyout.

Key inning: The 3rd. Trailing 1-0, the Twins got three runs to take a 3-1 lead. The first run scored on a balk. Polanco's RBI single put the Twins ahead. The final run of the inning scored on a passed ball.

DSL D-BACKS 12, DSL TWINS 10 AT TWINS

Batting stars: Francis Mateo had a triple, a double and 5 RBIs; Rafael P Valera went 3-for-5 with a triple, 2 runs scored and an RBI; Frank Encarnacion had 2 doubles, a BB and 2 runs; Antonio Tarver doubled and singled.

Pitching stars: Ezequiel Zarzuela pitched 2 perfect innings of relief with 3 Ks; Jhon Silva pitched 2 hitless innings with 2 BBs and 2 Ks.

Key inning: The third. In the top of the inning, the D-backs got 6 runs on 2 doubles, 2 singles, a walk and an error. The biggest blow was a 2-run throwing error by shortstop Joel Ramirez. The batter went to third on the play and scored on the second sacrifice fly of the inning. In the bottom of the inning, the Twins responded with a 2-out, 3-run triple by Mateo to make it 6-3. However, the Twins would not get closer than the final score.
