A railroad song!
You guys keep dancing around the real classic, though:

videos are not showing up in FF. I take it that the plugin is still broken? (I see the video in IE)
YOU'RE broken -- why aren't you using Chrome?
MOZILLA4EVAH!
Because even though Firefox has its issues, I've just never fallen in love with Chrome.
Ditto. I will note that this is a security enhancement. The issue is people not taking the very real security problem seriously.
Can't tell if serious?
Deadly serious. Youtube is an extremely popular site. If you're accessing it over open wifi, then it's trivial for someone to inject whatever they want. Trusting any JavaScript sent to you is the default and it's a stupid policy for http. Youtube itself is "just videos", but it's probably linked to your Google account and that would be very valuable.
You should see a shield icon to the left of the address bar where you can choose to not block on this site.
I'm on FF at work and I have no problem.
on FF at work today and I have no problem. Yesterday, I did. This morning, at home, I did.
You need to identify if you're using the SSL version of the site or not. The problem is threefold: browser, SSL, and crappy plugin. You need all three for the problem to occur.
How about we table this insightful technology discussion so that we can discuss a truly terrific selection by meat.
From the repository:
...his influence has extended over many generations of guitarists. Songs recorded by Hurt have been covered by Bob Dylan, Jerry Garcia, Beck, Doc Watson, John McCutcheon, Taj Mahal, Bruce Cockburn, David Johansen, Bill Morrissey, Gillian Welch and Guthrie Thomas.
and he was out of the industry for like 35 years. What recordings there are were made in the last 3+ years of his life!
