Pitching stars: Pat Dean pitched 7.2 innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on eleven hits and no walks with one strikeout. Michael Tonkin struck out three in a scoreless inning, giving up two hits and no walks.
Opposition stars: Eury Perez was 3-for-5 and scored once. Chris Rahl was 2-for-4 with a double. Josh Johnson was 2-for-4 with a double.
Key inning: The first. It was a scoreless tie. Antoan Richardson walked. Singles by Beresford and Eduardo Escobar made it 1-0. A passed ball made it 2-0. Jeff Clement got an RBI single for the third run. A walk was followed by a two-out double by Eric Farris, putting the Red Wings up 5-0.

Key inning: The seventh. The score was tied at one. Angelini led off the inning with a double and Yeral Sanchez hit a one-out two-run homer to give the Thunder a 3-1 lead.

Key inning: The eighth. The Miracle had scored in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game at four. Jacob Wilson walked, followed by singles by Jonathan Rodriguez and Wisdom to load the bases with none out. A strikeout was followed by an Alex Mejia bunt single to put Palm Beach ahead.

Key inning: The second. The Kernels led 1-0. In the top of the second, a pair of singles and an error tied the score. In the bottom of the inning, a walk and an error put two on with one out. A Murphy single loaded the bases. Joel Licon hit a two-run single to put Cedar Rapids ahead 3-1.
Prospect watch: Adam Brett Walker II was 1-for-4.
ELIZABETHTON 6, PRINCETON 4 IN PRINCETON

Pitching stars: Josh Burris struck out six in four shutout innings of relief, giving up one hit and no walks. C. K. Irby pitched two shutout innings, giving up no hits and no walks with one strikeout.
Opposition stars: Nolan Gannon struck out three in two perfect innings. Yoel Araujo was 2-for-4 and scored once.
Key inning: The fifth. The Twins trailed 3-2. Two walks and a bunt put runners on second and third with one out. Engelb Vielma singled to tie the score and Bryan Haar singled to put Elizabethton in the lead. Garver then delivered a two-run double to make the score 6-3.
Prospect watch: Zach Granite was 0-for-4. Romy Jimenez was 1-for-4. Aaron Slegers pitched two innings, giving up an unearned run on three hits and no walks.

Key inning: The seventh. The Rays trailed 1-0. Riley Unroe walked, stole second, and scored on a single by Kean Wong to tie the game. Erick Vasquez then hit a two-out double to score Wong and put the Rays ahead.
