Another top 40 casualty for me, and another song where people yell in the background.

I find it pleasant enough.
But then, I don't listen to radio, so the only people making me sick of certain songs have three-letter nicknames ending in R.
Or y'know, Daft Punk and Pharrell, who made me sick of that song about halfway through the first listen.
It's not "Ho Hey"?
This one definitely gets the "hipster eye roll" from Runner daughter
I'm nothing if not a half baked completist.
I think this is an example of the cream rising to the top. I like this song. It's not brilliant, by any stretch, but it's way better than most anything else I've heard on Top 40 in the past... forever.
Also, I was at a wedding this summer, the reception was in this large pavilion, it was raining outside and there was a nice breeze blowing that fresh, clean air through the place, etc. Perfect setting. And this song was played... an amazing moment. So, this one works for me.
I enjoy this song too - enough to pick up the album which was also enjoyable.
I liked this song when I first heard it, but even though I rarely listen to the radio, I find this song's charms have worn thin.
I guess I must not be hearing it as frequently as most people. A couple weeks ago I actually sought it out because I hadn't heard it in so long.
I usually listen to The Current though, and they might have been done with it a while ago, compared to Top 40.
I tend to think that if you listen to Top 40 radio you get what you deserve.
Me, too. Although, in my defense I'm forced to via an obstinate coworker.
was this the song i thought was the edward sharpe ripoff, or am i thinking of something else?
If I recall it was of monsters and men. But then again lots of bands sound like Edward these days.
yup, that's the one. stupid brain.
Sounds like the mic was a little too close to the yeller and not as close to the singer. Swap the tambourine out for a kalimba and you have a Grammy.
I like this song
I also like (what I think was) the followup single 'Stubborn Love'
Yup, "Stubborn Love" is a very good song.
I'm debating paying a bit too much to see the Lumineers in order to see Dr. Dog open for them. The link Dw provided is adding to the case.
also, I miss RandBallsStu twitter bit called Lumineers Power Rankings
