Okay, if Stick, Phil, and I are too lazy to make a new thread more than once a month we need some new blood. Any volunteers?
Though the good news for me is that I've gotten back in a rhythm. I promised myself I wouldn't go through writing a new one of these until I had a successful two weeks back on the diet/exercise program. Here I am 15 days in and going strong again.
Motivation will forever be a mystery to me. How can I go 3 months without being able to truly control what I eat? Then one day, something in my brain just snaps and I can go 15 days without eating more than 1500 calories. The kicker is that those days that I eat well are also the days I feel motivated to exercise. I kind of wish it was the other way around.
How long will this run last? Who knows. But I'm enjoying it.
Oh boy, that sums it up for me. Thanks for putting up the post. I've been looking at that and knowing I had nothing to contribute for a while.
I've been hovering between 203 and 205. Haven't been going anywhere, which is good enough, I suppose, for now.
My shoulder continues to improve. I have about 90 percent ROM (relative to the other shoulder). Have been increasing the dumbbell weights regularly for my exercises and returned to mowing the lawn about a month ago (I have a reel push mower). My strength has improved markedly, although still not where it needs to be, and my pain level has improved a lot, to where I can sleep on either side without much discomfort. Yea for growing older.
Now I need to make an appointment for a physical and my age-50 celebratory colonoscopy. Had to hold off for a while on the physical because I'd applied for a life insurance policy. That's in place now, so I can see a doctor again. w00t.
I could post a thread oncet in a while but would need to be taught how to.
I'll give you permissions. From there it should be very easy to figure out what you're doing. In a few minutes, snoop around and if it isn't evident, send me an email.
Um, okay. You have permissions already. So, if you make a post, make sure to use the "WGOM Fitness" Category (not tag) and you're good to go.
Hey, if this guy can do it, anyone can. Amiright?
Close. It's more like- "If anyone is in the perfect situation to do it it's this guy."
