After a beat-em-down game against Oklahoma City, the Wolves hit the road for the first time and play the Knicks at the newly renovated Madison Square Garden. Corey Brewer pestered Kevin Durant all night Friday and now his assignment is to pester Carmelo Anthony. Should be fun!
The Wolves with be without Ronnie Turiaf, he has a broken elbow. I suspect rookie Gorgui Dieng will be seeing more minutes.
Kevin Love outlet pass

That was a helluva pass.
The wife brought home a sixer 2013 Anchor Christmas. I don't know that she had seen me that excited since last time around this year. Other than when our daughter was born, of course... yeah.
Congrats on that epic sixer...and that daughter of course.
Melo with two fouls. yes please
I love that guys still fall for love's pump fake all the time.
I can definitely get used to this 30+ points every first quarter thing.
Seriously, this is super awesome.
is this really happening?
This team is unbelievable!
Words cannot describe.
In the event of no words, insert beer.
Anchor Christmas!
Awww, yeah. Dropping a 40-spot.
I worry this 160 point pace is not sustainable.
That's a problem I can live with.
Kevin Love outlet pass
*drink*
well, half drink because Brewer could not convert
Ummm...how is that not a foul?
I'll settle for a Shved 3 instead.
remember last year at MSG when the refs gave the game to the Knicks?
I do, now. Thanks for reminding me. 😛
I also remember a certain 30/30 game against the Knicks, which is my favorite Knicks memory!
Year before and not on tv. watched on a stream,
DWill 3. yes
the Wolves front seems really love to push the tempo
I broke my wrist this afternoon. I feel like a real Wolf now.
That explains the lack of Vikes tweets.
i was skating with my daughter. first time in 34 years on skates. fell and broke my wrist. Thus ends my skating career.
That sounds fun. And by fun, I mean really painful.
i have to go to specialist tomorrow. Might need surgery. I wanted so badly to skate with her. Should have known better.
Oof, sorry to hear that. Here's to hoping there's no surgery.
Damn. Dominant hand, or other?
other.
A bit of a silver lining. I've broken both. Dominant hand is horribly difficult.
Aye to that. I broke my left wrist (dominant hand) a couple of weeks before taking my qualifying exams in grad school. That was a bitch.
ouch
Oy, sorry, Boss. When I moved out from home, my mother made me promise I would never going skiing. She was convinced I would break every bone in my body. To this day I have never tried but part of me wants to show her she'd be wrong. Then again, that part of me would probably end up broken.
It would seem that snow would be a lot easier to fall on than ice or concrete (depending on what type of skates).
The only other game going is on NBA TV, so it doesn't. Work on League Pass. Lame. Don't. Think I'll be spending the money because of dumb like that.
Deadspin suggests that you don't.
I am not used to wing players making 3 point shots.
Or hell, even just good decisions.
this third quarter has been ugly thug ball.
Tim Hardaway with an impressive throwdown
Knicks are thugs.
been thugs since Ive been following the NBA in the early 90s. The imprint of Pat Riley is still on that franchise.
The dagger?
I enjoy the wolves. And Kevin Martin is the best.
Those two free throws excepted.
D-Will really doesn't seem to much care for getting minutes.
I thought the Wolves got the 'miss all the at the rim shots' out of their system last years. yeesh
Can haz foulz?
AAAACCCCCKKKKKKKKK
I'm not liking this quite as much.
a Vikings like collapse by the Wolfies here.
nobody collapses like the vikes.
The kids are all rught.
Kevin Love bank shot. wowzer
Wowza. Love shoulda had an "and one" on that, too.
Anywhere but MSG.
no kidding.
does it count as a double-double if one of the stats is successful 3-pt shots?
Robot refs to the rescue!
thats an illegal screen?
Another terrible call.
C'mon, that's flagrant for sure.
coming out of the time out, the Knicks ran an iso with the PG trying to do a layup against Pek. noice.
Spike approves.
also during the game
Spike Lee facepalm
I'm pretty sure the Knicks not fouling there was the dagger.
Three and oh!
Kevin Love's 89 points to start the season is the highest ever for a Timberwolves player. KG had 82 to start the 2004-05 campaign.
Everything seems to be pointing towards a Wolves-Sixers NBA Finals.
I found a new gif for when I'm in a bad mood.
Radio voice Alan Horton is a must follow for Wolves fans
The Wolves are still on track for 82-0!
