A Black day for Aguilas left them Wilin to win the game.

AGUILAS 8, CIBAO 1 IN AGUILAS

Cibao:  Carlos Frias (Dodgers) struck out three in 1.2 scoreless innings, giving up two hits and no walks.

Aguilas:  Dan Black (White Sox) was 3-for-4 with two home runs (his third and fourth), scoring three times and driving in three.  Wilin Rosario (Colorado) was 3-for-4 with a triple and two runs.  Chris Cody pitched six innings, allowing one run on six hits and no walks with four strikeouts.

The game:  Juan Lagares (Mets) had an RBI single in the first and Jermaine Curtis (St. Louis) delivered an RBI double in the second to put Aguilas ahead 2-0.  Black hit a two-run homer in the third to make it 4-0 and two more in the fifth made it 6-0 and put the game out of reach.
