ESCOGIDO 3, AGUILAS 2 IN ESCOGICO
Twins:  Jorge Polanco (Escogido) was 0-for-3.  Deibinson Romero (Escogido) was 0-for-1.
Aguilas: Â Zoilo Almonte (Yankees) was 2-for-4. Â Rafael Ynoa (Colorado) was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run.
Escogido: Â Pedro Ciriaco (Pittsburgh) was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs. Â Gregory Polanco (Pittsburgh) was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Â Allen Webster struck out seven in five innings, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks.
The game: Â An RBI double by Dan Black put Aguilas ahead 2-1 after three. Â In the fifth, RBI singles by Ciriaco and Polanco gave Escogido a 3-2 lead. Â The closest Aguilas came to tying it was the seventh, when they got the tying run to second with two out.
CIBAO 8, ESTE 1 IN CIBAO
Twins:  Chris Colabello (Este) was 0-for-3 with a walk and a run.
Este: Â Ricardo Nanita was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Cibao: Â Francisco Peguero (San Francisco) was 2-for-4 with two runs. Â Jonathan Diaz (Toronto) was 1-for-2 with two walks and two runs. Â Zach Kroenke struck out three in 3.1 innings, allowing one run on one hit and two walks.
The game: Â Nanita's RBI single in the fourth tied the game at one. Â In the fifth, Cibao took the lead on a two-run double by Alexi Casilla. Â Cibao scored five in the seventh to put the game out of reach. Â The runs scored on two singles, an error, another single, a walk, a wild pitch, one more walk, and another single.
LICEY 3, ORIENTE 2 IN ORIENTE (13 INNINGS)
Licey: Â Chris Marrero was 2-for-5 with a double. Â Juan Francisco (Milwaukee) was 2-for-6 with an RBI. Â Francisley Bueno (San Francisco) struck out four in four shutout innings, giving up five hits and one walk.
Oriente: Â Elian Herrera (Milwaukee) was 4-for-6 with an RBI. Â Junior Lake (Cubs) was 3-for-6 with an RBI. Â Andrew Sisco struck out five in four shutout innings, allowing two hits and two walks.
The game: Â Lake's RBI single started the scoring in the fifth. Â Each team scored once in the sixth, and Licey tied it in the eighth on an RBI single by Yamaico Navarro. Â Licey threatened in the tenth and eleventh, but finally broke through in the thirteenth when Navarro reached on an error and scored on a Yordany Ramirez double. Â In the bottom of the thirteenth, Oriente had the tying run on second with one out.
