The game: Both runs scored in the second inning when, with a runner on first, Oscar Salazar circled the bases on a double-and-error. Zulia only once got a man as far as third base, when Leon got there with two out in the fifth.

Twins: Oswaldo Arcia (Aragua) was 0-for-3 with two walks and a run. Dakota Watts (Aragua) pitched 1.1 scoreless innings, giving up three hits and no walks.
Aragua: Alex Romero was 4-for-5 with two runs and an RBI. Ramon Castro was 1-for-3 with two walks and a double, scoring twice. Ronny Cedeno (San Diego) was 1-for-4 with a walk and three RBIs.
Margarita: Junior Sosa (Pittsbugh) was 3-for-4 with a triple and a run. Elias Diaz (Pittsburgh) was 2-for-4 with a double, scoring twice and driving in one. Breyvic Valera (St. Louis) was 2-for-4 with a double and a run.
The game: Margarita got two in the third, but Aragua came back with three in the fourth, including Cedno's two-run single, to take a 3-2 lead. Each team scored twice in the fifth. Two singles, a walk, and a pair of productive outs gave Aragua two insurance runs in the seventh.
Random: Aragua drew twelve walks in the game.
CARACAS 3, LARA 1 IN CARACAS
Lara: Joe Thurston was 3-for-4 with a double. Luis Jimenez was 1-for-2 with two doubles and an RBI. Raul Rivero pitched five innings, giving up two runs on five hits and two walks with two strikeouts.
Caracas: Alex Gonzalez was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Bobby Abreu was 2-for-4. Yoanner Negrin (Cubs) pitched five shutout innings, allowing three hits and three walks with three strikeouts.
The game: RBI singles by Daniel Mayora (Dodgers) in the third and Gregorio Petit in the fourth game Caracas a 2-0 lead. Lara opened the eighth with three singles and a bases-loaded walk to cut the lead to 2-1, but a strikeout and a double play ended the threat. Gonzalez had an RBI single in the bottom of the eight to make it 3-1. Lara did not get a man past first in the ninth.
