  1. As with yesterday, this isn't my usual cup of tea, but I can definitely appreciate all the energy Kanye brings to the performance.

  2. I don't know how I've missed it, but this may be the first time I've heard this song in its entirety. Nice pull.

  3. I didn't hear a ton of singles off of his album this time around. His previous one, I did, and enjoyed them. I should check more of this year's out, I suppose.

    1. There were supposed to be no singles, but then he/label decided to release a radio edit for this to stations, now a video for Bound 2.
      Other highlights: Blood On the Leaves, Bound 2, New Slaves, On Sight (I might prefer the instrumental, the lyrics are bad).
      If I have time for tomorrow's FMD column, I may put more thoughts there.

    2. This is probably my second favorite Kanye album (I'm one of those weirdos who adores 808s and Heartbreak), I recommend it highly. It's not a terribly fun listen, though.

      1. I think 808s is my favorite too. This may just lose out to College Dropout for #2 due to nostalgia tinting my view.
