I honestly thought this whole "reunion" thing was a big mistake. Trying to recapture that youthful magic seemed like a bad idea, even if it was for charity. Man, I'm glad they didn't ask for my opinion.

Nice pick, Bootsy. Words can't describe what is was like seeing that in concert. It was loud -- not in "damn-my-ears-hurt" loud, but more, "this is shaking me to the core of my being loud."
My friend Rip (who has seen more shows than anyone I know) was also at the Chicago gig. He said it was hands down the best rock and roll sound he's ever heard at a festival. Goosebumps, he said. (Tommy prolly knows some real pros with his GnR connections.) I'm sorry, I missed these gigs, but thank goodness for YouTube. I bet I've watched a couple hours worth of clips from the three Riot Fest shows.
