Two out of three Twins play well, but an ex-Twin comes through in extra innings.

Twins: Eddie Rosario (Mayaguez) was 0-for-3 with a walk and an RBI. Daniel Ortiz (Mayaguez) was 2-for-5 with a home run (his third) and two RBIs. Kennys Vargas (Mayaguez) was used as a pinch-hitter and was 1-for-1.

The game: Each team scored once in the second. Mayaguez took a 2-1 lead in the third when Falu doubled, went to third on a bunt, and scored on a sacrifice fly. Each team scored once in the fifth. Mayaguez got an insurance run in the sixth when Ortiz homered to make the score 4-2. As sometimes happens, their insurance was not enough to cover them, because Castro hit a two-run homer in the ninth to tie the score at four. In the eleventh, ex-Twin Aaron Bates led off with a double and Edgardo Baez was used as a pinch-runner. Abreu singled him home to win the game for Caguas.
