Hi All,
It's time once again to start the keeper league. I have sent out invites to all managers who participated last year, but it sounds like we may need some replacements, so if you are interested, drop a comment below.

Googlez and work computers aren't big fans of each other these days. The keeper limit is 5, right? Is there a draft day set?
5 max. Draft day is set, but I'm sure can be moved. I recall March 20, but that's a Thursday. Maybe it's the 23rd?
Is it?
We'll find out!
doesn't the season open with some early australian games or something mid-march?
Looks like two games (for us 'muricans) on March 22.
The date that is set on the fantasy website was auto populated when I renewed the league, so I am open to a different day (maybe the weekend before the Australia games).
Any sense for when keepers will be due? Can we do off-season trades?
That would be awesome, I think.
As far as I am concerned, feel free to make trades. Remember, though, that a player can only be kept three times before entering the draft pool, so someone who was kept the first year only has one year left of eligibility. Keepers will be due a week before the draft, whenever that is (probably mid March so we can draft before the Australia games).
In that case, I've got some decent keepers if people want. Trout and Strasburg are off the table, but everyone else is game...
I assume if multiple players could be kept in the same round (via trades) that we'll just bump one of them up a round, right?
I had 2 first rounders last year that became my 1st and 2nd round picks.
So seems we should do round of, and round after?
That's what I recall what would be done from discussions in the first season.
I did the round of and the round before unless there were two first round picks. Then, I did the round of and after, and all other keepers were moved up a round. For example, if you were keeping two players in the first round, a player from the 5th round, and a player from the 10th round, you end up with rounds 1, 2, 4 and 9 occupied.
This seems like a smart approach.
