    1. Good for him. He was always one of my favorite names, too bad he's a good Yankee now.

  1. Craig Breslow (Boston) and Jesse Crain (Houston) opened the season on the disabled list. I believe Jason Marquis is also recovering for the Padres and might return this season,Jason Vargas KC
    Mario Hollands Phillies
    Yonder Alonso Padres
    JJ Pultz Arizona
Sergio Santos and Adam Lind Toronto
    Evan Meek Orioles
    Kolten Wong Cardinals
    Scott Downs Cubs

a whole list of ex-Twins in the miprs posted in last week's ex-Twins!

    1. I did this list by scanning the twenty-five man active rosters at mlb.com. That would explain missing the DL players. Alonso, Putz, Lind, and Wong were drafted by the Twins, but never played for them. It's arguable whether they count as ex-Twins--I don't include them in the transactions lists but I do note them in the birthday list. I don't see how Mario Hollands has any connection to the Twins at all, unless I missed something. I simply forgot about Sergio Santos, Evan Meek, and Scott Downs, however, because I was in too big of a hurry. Thanks for picking them up for me.
