The Twins have two bench players tonight. This game will be so much fun if it goes to extra innings.

Orioles caps suck. It's the white - nuke it Baltimore.
Need some sacrificing, pally.
Maybe it's just me, but I'd much rather be "Carlos Nolasco" than "Ricky".
Please be walks to haunting?
Or the Twins will just all strike out.
Why even have a top of the order?
That was disappointing
Gameday scout predicted that Wieters double. Creepy.
Kennys Vargas hit his fifth homer of the season as New Britain defeated New Hampshire 4-2. We'll have more on this and other games in Minor Details tomorrow.
Delmon Young sighting. I forgot the Orioles signed him.
Well, ugh, I think its time to get that hockey game going.
I used the ESPN API to mine headlines for each MLB team. The header and background color (both of which come from the same API) change each time you select a new team. It's nothing fancy, but it does load everything without refreshing the page, which was the point of the assignment.
Huh, Yogi Berra's house is for sale.
Can't seem to select the Diamondbacks without picking another team first.
Yeah, I'm working on a default that won't clear the results if it's re-selected later.
There, that seems to do it.
I think you can add the disabled="disabled" attribute so it's impossible to select it again, but it can remain the default on page load.
Oh yeah, that's better than my method. I gave the default option
id="default"
then in the JS.app file I put anif($.isNumerical(id))
before running the code. The combination ofdisabled="disabled"
andselected
works better.5 K to just 1 BB in six innings for Nolasco. That's more like it.
FanGraphs has this start a 3.98 FIP.
I wasn't expecting two more innings, but now it's at 3.57.
Logan Darnell, who's been a starter his whole minor league career, is warming up in the bullpen. Why is it that when a veteran is sent to the bullpen we're all supposed to understand that it's going to take time for him to adapt to his new role, but when a rookie starter is brought up and sent to the bullpen, he's supposed to be able to adapt instantly?
How the heck can the Twins have no runs on Jimenez in 7 innings?
Good thing Nolasco went the distance, what with 13 gassed pitchers
If Gardy wants to PH, he can go with the guy hitting .120, or he can go with Florimon.
One prediction right, two more to go. Bottom of the order coming up with no outs, so the second prediction seems likely to come true too.
Feed My Starving Children? Or a Twins loss? I think I chose wisely.
Jiminez came into this game with 5.6 BB/9 for the season and 4.1 for his career. The Twins lead MLB in walks, so of course Jiminez only walked one.
