Carlos Enrique Nolasco

The Twins have two bench players tonight. This game will be so much fun if it goes to extra innings.

  1. Carlos Enrique Nolasco

Maybe it's just me, but I'd much rather be "Carlos Nolasco" than "Ricky".

  2. Kennys Vargas hit his fifth homer of the season as New Britain defeated New Hampshire 4-2. We'll have more on this and other games in Minor Details tomorrow.

      1. Yeah, I'm working on a default that won't clear the results if it's re-selected later.

        1. I think you can add the disabled="disabled" attribute so it's impossible to select it again, but it can remain the default on page load.

          1. Oh yeah, that's better than my method. I gave the default option id="default" then in the JS.app file I put an if($.isNumerical(id)) before running the code. The combination of disabled="disabled" and selected works better.

  3. Logan Darnell, who's been a starter his whole minor league career, is warming up in the bullpen. Why is it that when a veteran is sent to the bullpen we're all supposed to understand that it's going to take time for him to adapt to his new role, but when a rookie starter is brought up and sent to the bullpen, he's supposed to be able to adapt instantly?

  4. If Gardy wants to PH, he can go with the guy hitting .120, or he can go with Florimon.

  5. Jiminez came into this game with 5.6 BB/9 for the season and 4.1 for his career. The Twins lead MLB in walks, so of course Jiminez only walked one.
