We've been watching The World Wars on H2. Very well done series that traces the WWI involvement of political and military leaders from WWII - Hitler, Stalin, Tojo, Churchill, Roosevelt, Patton, McArthur, DeGaulle. I recommend it highly.
The Twins are playing the Rangers and I'm away on vacation. Missed last night's, gonna be in transit today, but I should be able to see tomorrow's game luckily.
So I might be missing the Twins games that are actually broadcast in my area, but on the plus side exit row seats on two out of three flights today.
Went to the local pizza joint expecting to listen to the Girl and her combo playing jazz, intermixed with the h.s. trad jazz combo. Unfortunately, her bandmates failed to inform her that they were canceling out. Girl is royally pissed. Communication, people. Is it so hard?
Before Aaron Hicks was DL'd, he has more walks (27) than hits (25). amazing.

So, the first minutes I got to see out of World Cup was the penalty kicks in the Brazil/Chile match. Pretty exciting.

Disappointed that this isn't hockey and the penalty-kick winner gets assigned another goal. Then I'd be completely ahead.
(Actually, I do think I would have picked that game 1-1: Brazil is not that good and Chile is. I went back and forth on deciding who was going to win 2-1.)
